What Time Is It is a combination science fiction/thriller novel with a lot of humor interspersed. It is the story of a man who accidentally comes across a plot to ruin the American banking system. It takes place in a not too future time when practically everything is computer run and controlled. Eventually the computer intelligence starts to overtake the human. It is also a story of good vs evil, and asks the question can ethical and moral decisions be programmed to be made by computer intelligence. It is not too far fetched to see this progression from the appliances, GPS's, computers, clocks, etc. that now speak to us to machines that actually take on human characteristics and hold debates and conversations with us. This novel is a quick read that is both enjoyable and engaging.Product details

A quick read because it is artfully written by the brilliant mind of an upcoming author. The suspense and rapid movement of the story line is exhilarating. Though fiction today, these events could very well be in motion and just around the corner... take notice.
What Time is It. This is a very interesting book.
It reminds me of a book I read 2001 space odyssey.
I thoroughly enjoyed this fast paced, humorous and thought-provoking novel. I am absolutely recommending this novel to all readers who may wonder where the direction of today's technology could be heading, Oh My.
This is a great book. It is quick paced with very believable, well-formed characters. It also provides a very plausible look into the not so distant future. The style and skill of Richard Thuss are evident in the way he develops the plot and moves it forward in a way that keeps the reader fully engaged. I am recommending What Time Is It to all family and friends who love to read and appreciate a good story.
Couldn't put it down. Intriguing, fast-paced, thriller. Great characters and plot. Enjoyed it and can't wait to read the sequel.

Engineer Richard Thuss used his professional knowledge to write a convincing futuristic thriller about a plot by artificial intelligence to destroy the U.S. banking system. The main character, a software engineer, unwittingly acquires a highly intelligent wristwatch and so becomes drawn into the scheme.
Some of the most interesting and engaging characters in this novel are non-human, and I was quite taken by Thuss' intelligent machines as well as a very likeable canine character. I look forward to this promising writer's next novel.
