Do you love comic books? From 7 to 70 many people do.
And everyone knows of DC and Marvel, but a great many comics were produced between the 1930's and early 1950's often known as the "Golden Age" of comics.
These comics were mostly heroes who were depicted as battling the evil Germans and Japanese during the war.
They were designed to boost the morale of citizens and help sell war bonds. But once war ended so did they and many ceased publication a short time thereafter.
Inside you will find a brief hstory of comic books (and no they weren't a U.S. invention) and three stories from the war era. All comics have been restored as close to original as possible.
